LA Metro Project Management and Support Services

In 2008, and 2016 voters in the County of Los Angeles approved two sales tax measures to fund design and construction of new rail transit, bus transit and highway improvement projects.  LA Metro estimates these two tax measures will raise over $140 billion during a forty-year period. LS Gallegos, as a member of a Project Management and Support Services Consultant Team, serving LA Metro Project Management Teams, provided four full-time, on-site Sr. Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Cost Estimators to support contractor change order negotiations on the LAX/Crenshaw Light Rail Transit and Southwest Yards Project and on the Purple Line Rapid Transit Extension Project. Both projects exceeded $2.0 Billion.
