E-470 Toll Highway Expansion

LS Gallegos has provided CMGC ICE services for the $100 million expansion of the E-470 Toll Highway on the segment between Quincy Avenue and I-70 in Aurora, CO. LS Gallegos created cost estimates and documentation at intermediate design levels, and for the negotiation of the CAP.

Prior to the Quincy to I-70 Project, LS Gallegos performed the independent cost estimates on the E-470 segment ($80 million) from Parker Road to Quincy.

In addition to cost estimating, LSG provided construction inspection and observation services for the E-470 Widening Project between Parker Road and Quincy Avenue as a subconsultant to FHU.   The 8-mile long project involved the reconstruction of nine existing bridges and the addition of a third lane in each direction.  The procurement method selected by E-470 was Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC).   LSG’s role on the project involved inspection of traffic control, bridge construction, placement of earthwork, installation of drainage structures, erosion and sediment control, and asphalt paving.
